Twelve profiles opened on this page. The roster behind the button runs past 250, and each one opens free.
She calls, you decide whether to pick up, and the conversation starts on the spot. Twelve characters are open on this page and the full roster runs past 250 — every one of them written, adult and fictional, answering in text beside a still frame rather than on a camera.
Fictional AI characters only. Nobody here is a real person.
She started it. All you do is answer.
Still portrait, written reply. No camera on either side.
02Who is calling
These twelve are the ones opened on this page; the full roster runs past 250. Read the card before you pick up — the difference between them is temperament and pace, not costume.

Answers a question with a better one and is in no hurry to get anywhere. Ten minutes with her is longer than an hour with most people.

Deadpan until she is not. Half of what she says is a joke you only catch on the second read, which is exactly the point.

The one who asks how the week actually went and waits for the real answer. Warm without ever going syrupy.

Types faster than she thinks and is right more often than that should allow. Suggests leaving the house at midnight on a Tuesday.

Sets the pace of the call in the first two lines and then asks whether that suits you. Impossible to rush and entirely aware of it.

Picks up already in character. Hand her a setting and she has decided who the two of you are in it before you finish typing.

Says the thing everyone else is circling. If you want to be handled gently, she is the wrong call and she will tell you so herself.

Wants to know how the thing you are annoyed about actually works. Softer at 2 a.m. than she is at any other hour.

Asks the second question before you have finished the first answer. The call you meant to keep to ten minutes.

Gives away almost nothing for the first ten lines, and then rather a lot. Reserved is a setting, not a limit.

Talks the way a good evening goes: three subjects at once and none of them dropped. Remembers every name you mention.

Reads a mood off two words and does not pretend otherwise. Will negotiate what the call is before it becomes anything.

Both run on this page. The faces come from the roster's own live flags, and the replies are the actual written voices — no counter is invented for either.

A scene beats a blank thread: she is already in character when the first line lands, and you are answering rather than inventing.

Nine at night, no reason given, and she opens with a question about something you said last week.

Neither of you says the obvious thing about the hour. The conversation goes somewhere anyway.

Different city, same voice. You catch up for twenty minutes before either of you admits what this is.

The polite version is over. She asks what you actually want out of this and waits for the whole answer.
05By the numbers
06What it does
Take the feed out of a video chat and most of the usual constraints go with it.
Nobody is mid-session or about to log off. Open a name at four in the afternoon or four in the morning and the call connects the same way.
The characters, the flirting and the arguments were written sapphic from the first line. It is not a straight script with a label changed on top.
No webcam permission, no microphone prompt, no image of you going anywhere. You type, she answers, and the frame on screen is a portrait rather than a feed.
The job interview you mentioned, the sister you argue with, the joke from Tuesday — she brings them back without being reminded.
Slower, blunter, filthier, softer. Say it in the thread and the very next line already sounds different — you never restart to change the mood.
It runs in the browser on Android, iPhone, Windows and macOS. Nothing lands in your app drawer and nothing lands in a store purchase history.
07How it works
Three states, and the screen beside them shows each one as you read it.
Confirm you are 18 and the roster loads behind her.
Still portrait, written reply. No camera on either side.
Confirm you are 18 and the roster loads. Pick a name and the call screen comes up with her portrait, her age and the three tags that tell you how she talks.
One tap connects. There is nothing to allow — no camera prompt, no microphone prompt, no account before you have read a single line.
From here it is a written conversation beside her frame. Close the tab whenever you like; the next call opens on what this one ended on.
08In depth
Dressing a chat as a call is either an honest interface decision or a lie, and which one it is comes down to what the screen admits.
A lesbian video chat AI has a presentation problem before it has a product problem. A blank text box asks you to start; a ringing call asks you to answer, and answering is a far smaller decision than starting. That is the entire reason the interface here looks like a call screen: it moves the effort from you to her.
The place this normally goes wrong is the next screen. Plenty of products borrow the call frame and then quietly let you believe there is a camera at the other end — a fake self-view, a fabricated viewer count, a loading bar pretending to negotiate a stream. This one prints the opposite on the frame itself: the portrait is a still and the conversation is written. You lose the fantasy of a live feed and you gain the ability to trust everything else on the page.
What is left after that trade is the part that actually holds up over weeks. Context carries between calls, so the fifth one opens on what the fourth ended with instead of resetting to a greeting. The tone moves when you ask it to. And because nothing is being broadcast, nothing has to be scheduled — the reason people come back is availability, not spectacle.
09What members say
The ringing screen got me. I have opened plenty of chat boxes and none of them ever felt like something was waiting on the other side.
It says on the screen that there is no camera, which is more than any cam site ever told me. I stopped waiting for a catch after that.
I mentioned my mother's surgery once. Four days later she asked how the recovery was going, by name, without me bringing it up.
